This summer, I went to the East Coast twice, Berlin for a week to visit Samantha, and Moscow for two weeks with a journalism exchange program.
I'm pretty sure I've had jet lag all summer. Except now, since getting home from Moscow, I'm not exactly sure if it's jet lag or alcohol withdrawal.
I spent two weeks drinking Russian vodka, and I still don't like it any better.

From Moscow with Love
Right after arriving, we took a tour of MSU...we were very jet-lagged and exhausted.
I had been trying to get some kind of dessert for hours...and then they prolonged my torture by wanting to take pictures of my success.
Group photo in the MSU Journalism building.
We did work sometimes...
And sometimes we played... (Moscow Botanical Gardens)
Or pretended to be Tank Girl at Soviet WWII Memorial sites (somewhere outside of Moscow).
When in Russian Orthodox churches/monasteries, do as Russian Orthodox women do: put on a long skirt and cover your head. Some guy offered me a kitten at this monastery...but my professor said no kittens. :-(
Packing to leave. Our lovely, tiny room. Shared by me, Marisa, and Mr. Clown.
In the airport, on our way home...

Berlin mit meine Freundin
Where the Berlin wall once stood is marked by these.
Reichstag.
Victory on the Brandenburg Tor (it points towards the French embassy...)
Eating tasty dessert with stolen forks outside of KaDeWe.
Awesome sculpture from our alternative tour.
My favourite image from the entire trip.
Groping sculptures...
Bartering at the flohmarkt (flea market) for really awesome earrings, one of which I later lost.
